Hunter S. Thompson hired/collaborated with his good friend and artist Tom Benton to create his "Thompson For Sheriff" campaign print in 1970. This poster (recreated from Hunter S. Thompson's actual print) is a symbol of Hunter S. Thompson's political activism and intelligent rebel spirit; comes directly from Owl Farm. Hunter S. Thompson's Gonzo spirit lives on in his work-- and his Gonzo symbol.
Each poster is printed cotton archival paper and is inscribed by his wife, who also embosses each one with Hunter's official library seal. It is shipped directly from Owl Farm.
For collectors who prefer the thinner paper product, we have the more economical version of the same size, though it is in a white medium weight paper. Whereas this archival paper is priced to accommodate the materials.
The archival paper and poster paper are the same size, and all are embossed and signed at Owl Farm.
