Featuring the Mescalito symbol, this notebook inspires creativity and free expression and higher states of consciousness in general.
Hunter Thompson declared that Mescalito is the spirit animal of Owl Farm.
The actual Story that he titled "Mescalito", is a piece written in stream of consciousness during Hunter’s first trip on Mescaline. It is yet another example of Hunter’s unflappable presence — was his ability to be aware of his surroundings in any conditions. This Zen focus of Hunter’s was one of the reasons that his notes were so rich and informative that he could tear them out of his notebook to fax in to his editor at Scanlan’s monthly, debuting his first “gonzo” writing. That is why a synonym for Gonzo, or Mescalito is “Presence”.
This particular symbol of Mescalito is featured on the cover of “ScrewJack" and as the symbol of several of his other books along with the Gonzo Symbol.
